Mike George Sr, Mike George Jr, and Mitch Johnson attended the April 17-18 Spring 2019 CELDi Industrial Advisory Board Meeting & Research Symposium hosted by the Oklahoma State University Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM) Department. CELDi stands for Center of Excellence in Logistics and Distribution. CELDi is comprised of industry reps and a seven university consortium with the mission of enabling member organizations to achieve logistics and distribution excellence with meaningful, innovative and implementable solutions.
Mike Sr discussed his recently released book entitled “Lean Six Sigma in the Age of Artificial Intelligence”, and he shared insights into the development and practical application of a combined AI + LSS approach for equipping manufacturing, supply chain, maintenance and logistics leaders with a formidable weapon for improving capacity, throughput, on-time delivery and profitability. It was a great learning and networking opportunity for the 40+ attendees.
